A Star In Infinity, Is Also Within Me
The Sky darkened as the ground lights up.
Life reborn in a nocturnal hunt.
One by one, you unravelled in the dark.
The brightness of my home, turns your sharpness blunt.
What are you? Burning ball hovering?
Twinkling thoughts or ideas of God?
Immensely mind boggling,
Compared to me. Provoking my thoughts.
Like diamonds against a velvet cloth,
Enchanting us with stories and myth.
The shimmering sprinkle of Heaven aloft.
Gleaming with hope in this dark abyss.
Your soft subtle light breached my soul.
Travelling back in time as I absorb your grace.
Immortal beauty of a story untold.
Your journey amidst the infinite space.
As the sky lightened, you disappear like a fading scar.
Your companion arises. The glorious Sun!
You are unseen yet absolute. Twinkle, twinkle little star.
In darkness or light, you have proved us one.
