A Star
A Star
~~~~~~
A Star is forever alone, even in the vast night sky
When seemingly millions, flash, wink, and brighten
A comfortable and beautiful gestalt
The actuality is an illusion on the grandest of scales
The billions of miles that separate them is indicative of people
And the way they treat each other
Although both stars and people effect each other quite profoundly
It's really sad to say that in reality
People are much farther from each other
Though physically closer
And in the perspective of a star
It seems that they truly could care less.
