A Standing Rock In Water

Along the huge sandy beach
A large rock is seen
It stands out in the sand
When the water comes to shore
The huge rock is seen from the top
Making the rock look smaller
Yet when the water leaves the sand
Then the rock looks larger
No one knows how the rock
Got on the sandy beach

Hi Darlene - how are you - hope you are keeping safe - a refreshingly delightful poem. The oceans have been around for millions of years, so the rock was probably even bigger but the waves, currents and lap of the sea have weathered it. Well penned Darlene, Blessings, Jennifer.

The mystery of the rock at the sandy beach! Nature has its ways to shape landscapes that took millennia to be formed. Impressive imagery dearest, Darlene. Wonderfully written. Stay safe.

Sometimes shifting sand reveals the unexpected. Ilove your take on how time/tides can change our perspective. Cheers Dave
