A Spring Thing
The first flowers of spring,
Bring in the beginning,
Of so many good things,
Somethings you never see coming,
Drumming along your own beat,
A sweet treat for your eyes,
Surprised by all that's growing,
Showing all wasn't lost,
It's the cost of growing strong,
Nothing really went wrong,
Just pushed you along a little,
Getting lost in the middle,
The riddle gets solved,
My soul has evolved,
Revolving around what's true,
I grew into this flower,
The power of the bloom,
Consuming your sight,
Delight comes from knowing,
You're always growing,
Even if it isn't showing,
The spark always glowing,
Slowing down your flow,
Hanging in the shadows,
Colors blow in the wind,
Indirectly catching attention,
With a quick mention of their beauty,
Signals they've done their duty,
Calling to all who are seeing,
Spring bringing a new energy,
To every living thing,
Using it,
Brings all I need to be.
