A Spring In Winter

Time has changed as the wind takes away some things.. There are so many good times shared but a few still sing.. The streets are empty where we once walked and got lost.. The chairs and tables are away and on the cafe door a light frost.. My stomach drops a bit as each turn I take spring comes back.. The people have gone from the dock where we shared cocktails and oysters for a snack.. I don't regret an hour, a minute or a second of a time when it was just us.. But life came through the door and all was wiped away by words and a love lost.. Whatever is gained or lost though time , moments we shared can't be taken away.. Thank you so much for coming across my mind and making me smile on this winter day..

A beautiful write on memories treasured Michael.. Sometimes they just pop up out of the blue and bring a smile to your face.. That's why I reckon the good times should be treasured whether things worked out or not.. love Wilma
