A Special Warrior

I see you before me your courage is strong, The strength for emotion just doesn’t belong. Weakness comes calling; you see it and choke, An alien feeling, so how do you cope? You search for the answers you endlessly seek, A brave face, a switch off, you won’t become weak. You face it head on, but you just wont give in, As always the fighter, your goal is to win. I see you so different yet somehow the same, Outwardly calm, turmoil in your brain. You won’t let down barriers, you go it alone, A nomadic free spirit, still healing as you roam. You’ve the power to heal your hurts and regrets, The farewell that hurt you, you’ll never forget. A survivor are you and your world will still spin, You’ll conquer this chapter; close it, then begin. ©.L.Kelly

I enjoyed reading your poetry this morning Kelly. I will not be reading poetry for a few days as I will be gone from Friday until Monday. I look forward to reading more of your poetry when I return. I wish you a weekend filled with good health, love, and loads of inspiration. Love and Blessings, Carol
