A Special Sister
A sister is a special person that dwells within your heart.
The bonds that are between you no one can ever part.
She stands beside you when you think you're all alone.
And listens to you intently even when you've grown.
A sister understands you like few people ever will.
She has a special space inside of you - that only she can fill.
And when with life you can no longer cope.
She takes you in her loving arms and whispers words of hope.
A sister watches out for you while traveling down life's road.
And offers to help you balance life's precarious load.
A sister gives of her knowledge and experiences - no matter what you need.
Pay attention to her closely, to her advice and counsel heed.
Having a special sister is indeed the rarest treasure!
Nothing you possess against it you can measure.
And if your sister has indeed touched you in this way.
Let her know with actions what these mere words will never say!
