'a Special Gift Forever'

Theme : A Special Gift *************************** When I think of a special gift, A plenty of ideas come in mind, Though not everything is a hit, All depends on the occasion where they'll fit... People have different likes-dislikes, Some prefer valuable goods, Some opt for priceless smiles, But U know what, Special gifts always have their special time... Honestly telling that I get satisfied even with the smallest thing, I can't name a particular thing to be special, For me, every gift is peculiar, But that should be essential... As children, we were fond of new clothes & stationary, Views & needs changed with time, Relationships also are becoming probationary, Time becomes a Special gift for the receiver when the sender is in a hurry... Recently I received an unusual present, The giver was a dear disciple of mine, Surprisingly, it was a plant of pine, If nurtured well, it has no nearer deadline... I water it regularly for its growing life, Whenever I look at it, I feel fresh & bright, One day, we’ll go as we all are mortal, All I know is my Special Gift has become a Special Friend of mine...
