A Special Friend

I see into you, you are full of poetry.
When light comes down from the sky above,
It must travel through clouds, sometimes rain,
And through your eyes to reach your mind.
We should indeed be humble then, for we know that
What we perceive is a mere glimpse of God’s beauty,
And yet, it can be enough to make us squint our eyes in pain,
So great is the joy.
Will I make you cry for the joy of receiving the secret dream in your heart?
I want to,
I am honest,
You will see.

Christine, this is so lovely because it has the ring of honesty to it.
