A Song Softly Fading
Listen ye well-nigh.... 'Pon ye wonder ear..
O melody ~ Of the Song Thrust fainting....
Amidst the sinking gasp of the dark stars ~
Kindling the nightness... Mid moon-life gladness...
Oft a wee wanting moment melt away.....
By the sun...Seeking the rendered calmness...
Of a resting place.....Marking all time still..
A haven ~ 'Pon brow of awaiting breath....
Ye may have nurture amidst all daylight..
Abreast calmer fragrance...Of hope at night...
Yet hast ye let lie still.. A single moment...
Whilst ye listen to...The Thrush serenade....
Softly fading... Aside the shed of day...
Mid call upon without a book ~ All dreams...
