A Song of Deep Friendship
In the vast scheme of things
there are friendships so rare.
Shines so deep in your life
not a thing can compare.
I've received this great gift.
I hold onto this treasure.
My friend's always there
to share in life's pleasure.
And she's right by my side
when fate deals it's blows.
No one else understands
all my quirks that she knows.
I keep warm in her aura.
Her heart shines so bright.
As the years roll on by
I'm caught up in her light.
This person's glows special.
We've been friends for so long.
Since she painted my canvas
I'll weave her into song.
