A Song For the Angels To Sing

Last year I knew a poet that died,
He was tired of suffering
I wander if he’s still writing now
Writing songs that the angel’s to sing.

I know he made it to Heaven so fair
But I’m still left wandering.
If this servant of God is still writing songs
Writing songs for the angel’s to sing.

I know my uncle’s in the presence of God
I want to know what in Heaven he’s doing.
I figure he’s still doing the writing he loves,
He’s writing songs for the angel’s to sing.
