A Song For Everyone
There is a song for those who ache each day
A lullaby for every boy and girl
A smile that can take sadness away
A light that sparkles like a precious pearl.
But life itself is like an ornament,
An ardonment for those who laugh or cry
Both for those who ache with dissapointment
And for those on whom fortune smiles on high.
We can rinse each sad heart with bliss
We can live our lives without having to grope
For the triumph of success we fear to miss
We can see in each day a promise of hope.
If you heal the hurt in my heart with your song;
If with your words you give me courage
Then my thoughts and feelings will grow strong
Then every minute, Every hour will be a privilege,
An opportunity to reflect our care,
To spread our tender hearts over those alive
And we will banish the bane in the air
And then we, in one heart and mind will revive
A lullaby for every boy and every girl,
A light that sparkles like a precious pearl.
