A Soldier He Will Be
As a soldier you will leave
No matter how much I plea
In your heart this desire has always been
Support you I must
But do not tell me to trust
In camaraderie
My trust my son will be in the one
Whose faithfulness cannot be undone
Every day I pray
You will be returned safely some day
Without harm in anyway
It is your destiny
As a soldier you will lead
Much hardship you will see
Guard your heart you must
In the lord you must trust
He will give you victory
Delivering you safely home to me.
