A Soft Spoken Poet
A soft spoken Poet stills,
The night’s rain
Amid words of life’s souls.
For he perceives the resonance,
Of a fair maiden,
In his fastened dwelling.
A dwelling amid the,
Obscurity for he knew not what this radiance was,
Not until his lustrous eyes spotted her dancing in the rain.
Yet he still cannot perceive her clearly,
Amongst lovers tears.
So this soft spoken poet stills,
The night’s rain,
To see a fair maiden by his fastened dwelling.
