A Snowy White Owl

A snowy white owl in flight,
along the gem-lit night.

Soaring above the dim-lit trees
basking in the lady moons grace,
following the chilly breeze
leaving behind her audible trace.
The lake dancing to the night's song,
her voice above all, sweet and strong.

Ducking below the gnarled branches,
to where the night glowed an eerie blue,
and little glowing green patches.
A slowly stumbling drop of dew,
she hinds in her cave within a tree
as the darkness begins to flea.

With the early morning light,
a snowy white owl says good night.
