A Smile Is a Frown Upside Down

There was a lady from Miami Often would give you the whammy She could read your mind As you whimpered and whined As your hands got sweaty and clammy It leaves a great big hole After many years of observing Though I'm not an expert, I've found This revelation to be absolutely true A smile is a frown upside down Which would you rather be Happy as hell with a joyful heart Or go around with a scowl on your face Till all your friendships depart Perhaps you've noted a theme Running through my words so wise Love and passion for all youse ladies Wearing a bright perpetual smile Don't wish to bore you my friends With these constant poems about love But in these final years this old geezer has Nothing else gives my heart a shove
