A Sky Painted In Silence

not a single bird chirped in trees nor did the winds whisper to me clouds passed by with no refrain twilight's sky but a noiseless sea no crickets to announce eventide nor did waves crash on the beach the stars spoke not a single word tho it seemed they were in reach bleak hues of black existed there in the voiceless world's reticence once you left you took my sound leaving me a sky painted with silence

Thank you so much! This is a fav of mine. Written a few months ago, it did well on the other site I belong to. Something like 6 top 3 ribbons and was featured as one of their special front page picks. So, I am very, very pleased that you liked it, my friend!
