A Sir Not To Miss

His smelly cigar, wispy hair, and flashy gold: a harmless loon, we thought (his evil crimes were then untold); this fiend escaped the law, and died a sainted Sir - now strip him of the knighthood, please (the people all concur). for Catie's 'Jimmy Saville' contest (Saville was a British DJ & TV presenter, knighted for his charity work...he was also a serial child abuser - unfortunately, this only came out after his death, & so he retains his title, Sir).

Love your poem. Flawlessly direct. Superbly done, Jack.

It's amazing how some people manage to get away with such abusive behavior!! Apparently they do not believe in karma! There arrives a time when she comes to collect her dues! ~ Best regards, my friend. // paul

Sad that he did what he did and got away with it for that long period of time but that happens over here as well. Thanks for the visits to my page. I have finished my sonnet that I had started. Tommy fell yesterday evening. He got up to go to the bathroom I guess and felt dizzy and fell against a coffee table then onto the floor. Sara
