A Sinner Cries For You

A Sinner Cries for You

These walls were built to help us all
No race no sex no creed
We won't judge or claim damnation
Our friends are those in need

Sharing love from heaven
Sanctify the poor
We fight poverty and hunger
The only holy war

He is here to guide us through
The darkness that we face
Talk to him and he will answer
Feel his warm embrace

We face our persecution
By men who have no fear
Desecrate the congregation
All things we hold dear

We let them take our money
And all our foolish pride
Please don’t let them take our lives
There is nowhere we can hide

Shield us from the mighty bow
Stop the swinging sword
We call out in our darkest hour
Please rescue us our lord
