A Simple Touch

Over my eyes,
the unveiling of a secret kept
within my breast.

Just a simple touch --
the songs spilling out of your eyes
your hand in mine.

Sudden snapshot
And the light beam brings such focus
the dark gunshot

Not a shred of doubt,
just a simple touch to let me know
Your deepest thoughts.

a simple poem but rich in love. how we all long to be touched -- for someone to take the time to get to know us -- to share our deepest thoughts . . . great ending. keep writing
