I am unable to write as beautiful and poetically as you do Truth being is l do not have your gift with words Though no envy do l possess l am content and proud with what l construe My poems are simplistic and like me without airs or graces Just my genuine thoughts and truths Written simply Direct from the right places Poems like their writers are individually unique There being no wrongs or rights , no poetry book of rules A creative freedom to write as we wish Enjoying the wonderment of the poetry we all seek

Your poems are beautiful, Deb. Some poets relish cumbersome words that the reader has to look up. I seldom read those but many like them. There are lots of beautiful, simple words that touch the heart.

Love it, nothing wrong with fancy forms of poetry like an art with words, but for many on here it's for enjoyment, some for self therapy when all else had failed them, a voice to try and be heard, plenty of room for all , unlimited space : ). Understanding we all come from different parts of the world coming together: )
