-A Simple Poet
I am unable to write as beautiful and poetically as you do
Truth being is l do not have your gift with words
Though no envy do l possess
l am content and proud with what l construe
My poems are simplistic and like me without airs or graces
Just my genuine thoughts and truths
Written simply
Direct from the right places
Poems like their writers are individually unique
There being no wrongs or rights , no poetry book of rules
A creative freedom to write as we wish
Enjoying the wonderment of the poetry we all seek
