A Simple Poem

If I could write a poem as enchanting as you are I'd show it to the world and never say that you're the star I'd enter it in contests you would never know I'm in Then celebrate in secret should my precious poem win I'd hide my proud certificate but you I would allow To hear I'd won some riches, but I'd never tell you how And then I'd smile discreetly and I'd take you out to buy Anything that you desired, and I'd never tell you why.
