A Simple Poem

A sad and broken heart,
Is all I've ever known.
But then I met you,
I see the care you've shown.

My cold lifeless heart,
Starts to beat again.
And every moment together,
Is new life waiting to begin.

So I write this simple poem,
For you to read away.
I know I'll see you soon,
But it feels forever every day.

Chris Ash February 27, 2009 at 4:30 PM As you can tell, the shift in mood has clearly indicated there is someone new in my life. I wouldn't call it love just yet but there is a strong friendship building. I have always said that your true love should be your best friend. Time will tell.
