A Silent Mind
a vicious silence
feeds on my mind
stifling my essence
a curse designed
to destroy and erase
all authentic creativity
leaving not a trace
of poetic ability
my pen overflows
with eager ink
but the silence grows
forbidding me to think
my mind must be restless
I despise this peace
allow my pen to be reckless
this silence must cease!
