A Silent Cry
It's rare that she sleeps
All the stress makes her sick and she finds it hard to eat
Slowly this pain kills
Still she refuses to speak
Now there's a craving for that peak
Everyday she gives in makes her more weak
Her sins have become stuck on repeat
With every goal incomplete
and a feeling of despondency
She cries and she weeps
Not a mark to be shown
But she lay bruised and scarred in defeat
She sees that you're worried
So begin the lies how she tries and she tries
But behind closed doors she sits disconnected from the world
As her brain starts to fry
She found the key to her joy from the stranger inside
Her escape from reality
But it's the devil in disguise
Unaware that her dreams are being used as a sacrifice
There's a rush flushing through the tainted blood in her veins
Self affliction is ignored when she's distracted
Finding beauty in glass stains
She continues to lie to herself
denying the fact that she's dying inside
Screaming from her eyes
Save me she cries
But she's stubborn, mouth sewn shut
because she can't compromise
