A Side of Fries

A Side of Fries

Verne had never had the nerve before.

He stood before her, looked into her eyes
asking “you gonna eat all of those fries?”

Hunger’s hands holding hollow hope.

Made me laugh, John. When our grandkids were little, my hubby used to tease them about their food saying, "you gonna eat all that," and they would encircle their plate with both arms to protect it and give him a scowl! Anyway, congrats on your win. Sandry

Love the idea of this one, John. Some people so obsessed with food, it's all they can think of. that was me many years ago!
