A Short Wish
I wish I could fly
Up there on a cloud
Where the world and it's problems
Do not seem so loud
Where beauty is present
In things all around
And I would be safe
From life on the ground.
I wish I were a bird
To fly far away
From all of life's troubles
If just for a day
