A Shell of a Man

I wouldn't wish a life with me
on my own worst enemy.
I live my life very miserably
and cause others to feel miserable who care about me.
I use to be happy go lucky.
I use to be the life of the party,
but too many years of too much tragedy
has made a shell of a man out of yours truly.

don't believe it for a minute. happy go lucky and the life of the party are not exactly what make a man. things change for all of us, not always for the best, but sometimes, the bad changes, make us better people, and often we can't even see it....at least not for a while. if you're a shell of a man, then so am I. well, woman. so there. xo
