A Servant's Prayer

When You walked on the earth You saw the needs Of Your children as they struggled along But when You looked in their eyes Your compassion and love Gave them hope and the strength to go on There are times in my life when I go through so much And I question Lord why must this be Then I wait for Your voice and You tenderly say My child you must trust in Me Lord if You loved me enough to die And to rise from the dead again Create in me a desire to be Your servant forever - amen Lord You have shown me in Your own way How important service must be When I see someone hurting O Lord let me care In the same way that You care for me. Amen
