A Serene Attitude

The waves applauded and cheered
                                                      As though happy to see me
                                                      Then gave a standing ovation
                                                      As if I were performing
                                                      They flipped twirled and danced
                                                      Took a pause
                                                       And came back again
                                                       It was just about night
                                                       The ensemble and setting
                                                       Were just right
                                                       The mood was smooth
                                                       The air was cool
                                                       Nature displayed a serene attitude
