A Secret

Tho everybody has one
Some have more than two
We try to keep them hidden
But we hardly ever do

They're often spoke in whispers
When no one is around
Some are only meaningless
While others may astound

Sometimes we never share them
With another living soul
While othertimes it's screamed outloud
For the whole wide world to know

A secret can be harmless
Or cause us pain and strife
It can give someone a lasting smile
Or even change a life

So much truth in your words. Much for the reader to reflect on. Keep on writing! Karen
