A Second Letter To My Sister
Dear sister
I am in my third year first semester
I hope you see yourself past that
You have to be perfect if you want to be like them
But write to me that all is done
That you have excelled Marvelously
Portraying your Brilliance
Stemming out like The Griffins
with wits of Clinton.
Dear sister remember
In the beginning light was separated from the dark
Back in time when the dark ruled
If it is so the dark was dominant
No change but more destruction
Sister seek perfection
Death is life, life is not death
Live your worth when you still got breath.
Let not a hungry hyena seduce you
Use you
Abuse you
Confuse you
Reduce you
Hope you know the story of our mother
Reason you have to stand strong
Justice to yourself
Be yourself
Play not with dirt in your heart
Find Love .
Above all sister, to be the top cream
Remember the supreme
Let not the modern ‘Holy’
Lead you to ‘Holy’ Plantations
where faithfuls sow seeds of Figures
Your faith is yours to decide
Be safe with the chosen.
As I pen off
Know I still write
Of late been turning pages into stages
Going places meeting faces
You have to know people
I’ll never give up
Always wake up
Take up
Life challenges that come
My happiness, My talent
In my brain whether sunshine or rain
If you cant be like me, be better dear sister.
