A Second Chance

No one knows what life has in store
For man, woman, or child---rich or poor
Judge not ones wealth from financial gain
Instead: evaluate where their hearts’ reign
When we have proved to ourselves & others
That we can change the life of another
And in doing this, we can break the “spell”
To overcome negativity in this living hell
And who am I to say good-bye?
My luck ran up almost over night
So give it a try…maybe you’ll get by
For a second chance at another life
I leave you to ponder
This matter you’ll dwell
To “fix” what was broken
First find when you fell.
