A Second Chance

As I sit here, I remember how my life use to be.
I was trapped in a deep pit, isolated, alone, unable to walk in the light.
At this time, I'm living, the future I couldn't see.
God made everything all right.
Taking me from loneliness to happiness.
Nobody can understand what I've been through.
I've experienced peace, complete freedom, in Jesus Christ, a breakthrough.
Tomorrow is not promised, therefore, today is a gift.
I'm always busy, running around, feeling as if I'm on the midnight shift.
He has been there for me, during every challenge I have ever faced.
My choices cannot be erased.
But I have risen above the chaos, and previous mistakes.
A little faith is all it takes.
I'm not perfect, I can't move on, and live with regret.
There's no time to waste and fret.
He has a plan for me.
I'm just letting life be.
Realizing that God's love for me is unconditional.
Its without judgement, not seasonal.
My existence is in God's hands.
For today I know, where my heart, truly stands.
