A School Computer

We used to stay up
All through the night.
We would talk about nothing,
Right under the stars
With our mouths full of entitlement.

We used to stay up
All through the night.
Wasting
Wasting time.
Until we got a headache
By watching the minutes go by,
On our digital clocks.

We used to stay up
All through the night.
I closed my eyes
For what I thought was a few seconds.

I can't do this anymore.
