A Scene

Tears in in the silent room Tears, the cigar box on the floor Tears, the overflowing trash can Tears, pants hanging behind the door Tears, the photos on the wall Lively eyes in stillness Tears, empty bottles on the floor Tears, thoughts, and trances Tears, a phone without a call Reflecting from the hazy mirror, Tears, a curtain without a soul. Tears, the light with thin cobweb Tears, the shoe rack by the side of the door The tears began to ebb For the heart to ask for more. Oct 15, 2016
