A Savior Was Born
Long ago a savior was born,
to a world so forlorn.
Soon it was the gospel he would teach,
so many lives he would reach.
He healed the sick and lame,
the lost and dying he would claim.
As time went by,
it was him they would deny.
He was brought before Pilate's throne,
his actions they would not condone.
On a hill far away,
died a man that day.
A man named Jesus gave his life,
for all our sins and strife.
In him we have a choice,
but it is our belief in him we must voice.
When we feel weary and worn,
let us remember the savior that was born.
