A Sandy Beach

Winter was long hard and cold
we carried a heavy load
with the virus that stayed to long
everything seemed to go wrong.

A war has broken out
things unsolved we shout
shaking our heads on this deed
hoping it ends with speed.

Spring cannot come to soon
wanting everything in bloom
heat sunshine and blue sky
and a cozy sandy beach to lie.

These last couple of years have played havoc with people's lives, Phyllis. Both the pandemic and this war are taking their toll. Let's pray for peace and healing. ~ Happy Easter, my friend! // paul

Ahh!! I would love a trip to the beach but alas probably won't happen. I would want to sit on the beach in a chair though. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara
