A Sad Christmas

It’s Christmas morn at the crack of dawn Deep snow is all around We celebrate with peace and joy The coming of that baby boy So long ago to save the world So sad that it has come unfurled With so much evil all around No lessons have been learnt If only we could stop awhile To contemplate the Christmas story Of peace and love and joy and glory Our beliefs are now so transitory Take time away from all furore Reevaluate the Christmas story So sad that we have lost our way But never too late or so they say So make a difference whilst on this Earth On Christmas day celebrate his birth And fill your heart with love and joy Rejoice in the birth of that baby boy 5th December 2018 Competition: A Sad Christmas Sponsor: Dear Heart
