A Sacred Marsh
Here, the infant Day
In a misty hush
Lies, as swaddled.
Moses, among the reeds!
And the Nile's weeds.
No wind dares blow up.
Stirs, lapwing, leaf.
As duck, paddled.
Daughter of Eygpt's throne
Come claim your own!
