A Russian Invasion

My thoughts do not stray. Too far away From the Russian war My thinking isn't always correct, I've mentioned this before, I am an old lady Wrinkled, aged and grey Even though I'm ancient I am still free to have my say What are we talking about, Ukraine's are not at war, These people were satisfied With how they lived before, That was until President Putin Putting his boot in. And started to INVADE Ukraine He was on a private crusade The like of which, We never want to see again, Putin does not know the score The Russians may think they are at war, But the World realises, On this occasion, It's a RUSSIAN INVASION.

I think even some of his cronies realise he has gone too far. He is drunk with power. I hope this will cause his downfall.

Absolutely 1,000% right. Putin's pretexts are Lies, Lies, Lies. He's the inheritor of Hitler's BIG LIE technique. Tell the lie enough and it becomes truth. Good for you, Shirley, and write on! ~ Faith Forever, Gershon

Putin has found the perfect Eufimism: It is not a war but an invasion. It is like saying Hitler had visited all European countries! Excellent, dearest, Shirley!

Thank you, Demetrios. There are no words to express the courage and tenacity that the Ukrainians have shown through all this horror. They have set an example of strength and unity for all to try to follow. It was lovely to hear from you. Take care. Shirley

Absolutely, Shirley. The Ukrainians are victims of one man's brutal despotism and aggression. I can't understand why the world cannot rid itself of this wart on world body politic.
