A Runaway Dog

A runaway dog
Lost in the fog
Without a bone
Along his lane
But clubs and sticks
And things that pricks
Once gazed the sky
And prayed to fly
Believing within
It can be done
God saw his heart
And showed his might
Now he flies
By his ears.
