A River On Sunday

A River on Sunday Daybreak Ghosts dance on the lily pads playing dodge ball with the creeping sun escape into the unreachable blue. Lone heron, imitates the stillness of its own reflection. A river follows its never ending, ever-present, meandering course. //RIVER// John G. Lawless 9/6/2015 submitted to POEMS THAT DID NOT PLACE AND MORE – poetry contest

Simply beautiful, John. Wish you would see me more often. I don't often get to the member poetry lists! I think your writing is so elegant.
