A Riot of Color
Yesterday the trees were bare
Today tiny buds sprout everywhere
Bright flowers bloom within a day
Lilacs, daffodils, bluebells
Why wait for May
Spring bursts forth in a riot of color
If my tulips could speak
they’d whoop and holler
