Yesterday the trees were bare Today tiny buds sprout everywhere Bright flowers bloom within a day Lilacs, daffodils, bluebells Why wait for May Spring bursts forth in a riot of color If my tulips could speak they’d whoop and holler

Spring actually went away in Chicago. Saturday - 86 degrees fahrenheit. Today - 40's with a howler of a north wind. Had to wear earmuffs.
