A Rhythm To Dance To

On some days,
I imagine I can dance.
I pull out all the CD's
and survey the spectrum.
My daughter tells me I have too much hip action and bounce to be cool.
The legs are stiff ,
The feet, a little numb these days.
"Can you feel the beat?" She asks.
I try to find a rhythm to dance to.
Really, I do.
