A Rhapsody of Sweet Tunes
For many long months, life has been buried under a white duvet of snow
but in mid-March, the weather slowly begins changing for the better.
The winter doldrums start to recede as the snowmen melt away
and on a warm sunny day, the sunlight feels so exquisite
nature composes melodies for the robin redbreasts
that serenade life with a rhapsody of sweet tunes.
Spring fuels fantasies by filling lovers' dreams
with pretty butterflies and scented breezes.
Colorful flowerbeds bloom together
in gardens or wild in empty fields
and it's such a joy to see them
color returns to my cheeks.
Inspired by renewal
hope rejuvenates,
for nature is
a pathway
to my
soul.
