I wish I could ignore The troubled world I see I cannot take any more Of all the controversy. I feel helpless, useless and afraid. What can I do to assist and aid? The poor people who are stoic and brave Who cannot ignore this horrendous war? They have no choice but to soldier on Even though their kith and kin are gone Unnecessary heartbreaks, worries and woe Can it be ignored? The answer is NO!
