A Repost What Title Suit

For your knowledge everyone hail and praise
For your charisma everyone stand and clap
And within you joy sways with no pause:
And you feel, you the celebrity worth the clap

It is in false they praise not in truth
Though their eyes bath in awe and admiration
For to them, you are the paramount
In their mind, the wish to be in the position
Aren't we all want to be the great?

A word from you is the supreme
Even when you are not on the stand
From you, go is go and come is come
Sit is sit and stand is stand
Failure to obey is a crime

It is not in love but in lust their obedience
From you, people's expectation is humble
You are the talk of the time in your existence
When you're defunct someone else we shall prattle
Let history talks of you with grace

"When you are defunct, someone else we shall prattle" This line is so true. Man is so fickle, when one goes another to praise will always take the place Astute words Afolabi, I like your poem...Maria.
