A Repeating Wish

For my sights are distrought
I can't be protected
They think I'm crazy for my wishes
But they know not my cause
I've dwelled on this so long
And now it's time to free my mind
Let it out of this cage it sits in
And let it breathe and roam
To gain perspective on my life
It all has grown into a montage of mockery
So I don't feel what I believe exists
Maybe forgiveness is at sake
Or maybe my wish for something better
A hand to hold and a heartbeat against mine
A kiss to feel and a love to charish
